Testosterone

DIY obstacles

I pulled up the Wikipedia article on Testosterone and I don't feel like it means anything to me.

I looked for phyto testosterone and got an article about Phyto androgens and I feel like it's gibberish and probably not useful for trans men.

I found an article about men's health which says in part:

Try vitamin D supplements. A 2011 study of 165 men suggested that supplementing with about 3,300 IUs of vitamin D per day increased testosterone levels.
Enjoy your morning coffee. There is some 2008 evidence that caffeine may increase testosterone levels.
Get more zinc. Zinc deficiency in men has been associated with hypogonadism.
Eat more nuts and beans. They’re rich in D-aspartic acid, which promotes the production of testosterone, according to one 2009 study.
Okay, that is potentially useful for alleviating depression though it probably doesn't support masculinizing effects.

Ovaries do produce some testosterone though men produce a LOT more than women do.

So I'm wondering what pathways you need to understand or what hacks potentially leverage that to alleviate dysphoria.

And the above list is a definite maybe. I would start with vitamin D which is technically a steroid and many people in various countries are deficient.

And start a health journal and all my usual standard advice, including try ONE new thing at a time and give it AT LEAST a week or TWO before making any other changes.
