Secondary

I have just added the label Secondary to a few posts. Breasts, smoother skin and other secondary sex traits like that are being given that label.

I have posts labeled KEY for trying to identify important posts relevant to the primary goal of figuring out an alternative means to help people get the hormones they need to be healthy because I believe being Trans is a sex hormone syndrome that negatively impacts health and immune function.

BUT people focus a lot on things like gender presentation, which I do write about at times, and that includes worrying about two things:

1. Secondary physical impacts of HRT, like smoother skin or breast development.

2. Clothes, hairstyles and makeup which are entirely separate from your actual body.

Hair is a little of column A and a little of column B. You can outright wear a wig but also hair is a part of your physical body.

Anyway, Secondary is for pieces that talk about the physical Secondary sex traits that aren't either hormones per se or the bits between your legs.

I have a serious medical condition and know a lot about stuff. Sometimes, smoother skin or a bigger booty can be hacked by some method other than HRT. But also sometimes taking HRT has consequences and you don't necessarily get to pick what they will be.

It's important to Trans people and relevant to HRT but it's not my central concern. My central concern is hormones and there's no clear, bright line here but SOME of this Secondary stuff is hormone related and some isn't necessarily.

If you want a nose job because you hate your nose: Get a nose job and stop trying to convince some idiot doctor it's about gender identity. People get stuff like that because they don't LIKE some superficial trait. Full stop. No additional justification required.

Fix it. See if you're happier. Fret about "Am I REALLY my AGAB or NOT??????!!!!" For another two years AFTERWARDS.  Who cares? These two things don't have to be connected.
