Camp Foods, so to speak
I write a fair amount about eating well under difficult circumstances, like in poverty housing without a full service kitchen or while homeless or in prison.
So what if you want to do hormone support foods in a situation like that, where there may be no refrigeration or no means to cook?
Well, the first thing that comes to mind is pizza with pepperoni and pineapple. Needs research though because I suspect canned pineapple probably doesn't work and I don't know if dried pineapple would.
Honey also is a source of enzymes and doesn't require refrigeration.
Below are some things I've written previously pertinent to this idea. Details would need to be worked out, but if you know a trans individual in especially difficult circumstances, it's a place to start trying to figure it out.
From Vending Machine Lunches:
Pizzas:1. Flat bread, tomato sauce packet, Parmesan or Romano cheese, cubed pepperoni, onions, green peppers and pineapple cubes.2. Vegetarian option: The same, but no pepperoni for slightly less money.
