The brain builds 95 percent of its cholesterol in house starting with B5.
B5 is also critical to red blood cell production.
B vitamins are water soluble and you can rapidly become deficient in them from sweating or peeing a lot or other loss of bodily fluids.
So blood stuff related to menstruation is looking like a prime suspect as at least ONE factor in the equation.
If you are a MTF trans person, THIS part of the equation shouldn't apply to you.
Furthermore, IF competition for resources (B5, cholesterol) between the brain and hormone producing organs is a factor, this also should be irrelevant if your hormones are from HRT.
